Lake Shasta is the largest man made reservoir in California, with 365 miles of shoreline & 10 marinas.  Shasta Dam is the second largest and tallest concrete dam in the United States.  Shasta Lake includes 3 North state rivers , referred to as arms; The Sacramento, The Pit & The Mc Cloud.

Situated on the Northern tip of the Sacramento Arm lies the resort town of Lakehead.  Lakehead is conveniently located off Interstate 5, 28 minutes North of Redding, California.  Lakehead is 100 miles South of the Oregon border & within a 4 hour drive of the San Francisco Bay Area.
